Writing Workshop

This course, open to incoming freshmen, as well as to rising sophomores and juniors, provides opportunities to hone writing skills and enrich oneself beyond the boundaries of the school year.

Why wait until the start of the school year to improve your self-confidence – as well as your thinking and writing skills?  Students who struggled with writing in their first year or just want to improve can prepare for their future with tips and techniques applicable across the high school curriculum.  They will also benefit from oral presentation lessons that cover formal and informal debate on current events that matter to them. We’ll supply the materials (including a course reader) and structure; you supply the ideas and enthusiasm that will translate into creative essays and persuasive speeches.

•    Monday, June 25th to Friday, July 20th.  Wednesday, 7/4 is a school holiday.
