15: The On-Line Application
The Saint Mary’s online application is easy to complete. If you need access to a computer with high speed internet to complete the application, please contact the admissions office at 510-559-6240. We would be happy to have you complete your Saint Mary’s application at our school. Applications are accepted beginning September 15, 2011 through the deadline date of January 3, 2012.
21: Information Night - 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.
Learn about our philosophy, programs, and important admissions information with presentations from the Admissions Director and members of the administration. This will be followed by a student, teacher, and parent panel with Q&A from the audience. Information Night is located in the Auditorium. All are welcome.

This is the opportunity for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade families to meet the administration, faculty, coaches, staff, parents, and students. Open House agenda and details will be posted at www.saintmaryschs.org on November 15.

03: The Freshman Online Application deadline – by midnight.
07: Eighth Grade HSPT Entrance Examination
There is no need to pre-register for the HSPT at Saint Mary’s. Incoming freshman applicants who indicate Saint Mary’s as their desired testing location, are automatically registered for the HSPT, and a seat will be available for you on January 7, 2012.
17: Financial Assistance Workshop at 7:00 p.m. in the Shea Center
The Financial Assistance Workshop is for those families who are looking for assistance in completing the PSAS Form. This workshop is held by the Business Office. Questions about the possible amount of assistance a family would receive cannot be answered on this evening. The forms have to be completed and information evaluated before answering these types of questions.

Grade Report and Confidential Recommendation forms to be submitted to an applicant’s teacher and/or school office can be downloaded at the bottom of the ‘Apply to Saint Mary’s’ page.
03: Financial Assistance Application Deadline
Families may file for financial assistance by completing the 2011-2012 PSAS (Private School Aid Service) form and mailing it directly to PSAS. Application forms must be RECEIVED by PSAS no later than February 3, 2012. See the Financial Assistance page for more information.
09: Student Interview Night - Between 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

23: Freshman Registration Deadline. $700 Registration Fee Due.

25: Sixth and Seventh Grade Information Night 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
This Information Night will provide an preview of the admissions process, the school’s Mission and philosophy, and a brief description of the programs offered at Saint Mary’s given by a panel of administration, students, and parents. Individual Q&A’s will follow the presentation.

05: Seventh Grade Pre-HSPT Practice Test begins at 8:30 a.m. – concludes at 12:30 p.m.
There are 125 seats available for this Seventh Grade Practice Test. Reservations are required. Sign up online after September 15, 2011.
