The Campus Visit Program at Saint Mary’s College High School helps student applicants find the information they need to make the most of their high school decision process. Saint Mary’s is pleased to provide this opportunity for prospective students to visit our campus on a school day, during school hours, in order to get a sense of what it means to be student at Saint Mary’s. The campus visit program is a great way to get to know our campus community and learn more about the excellent academic and co-curricular programs that are available.
Campus visits are offered for interested eighth grade applicants between the months of October and December of each school year. A campus visit to Saint Mary’s can be invaluable in providing students with an introduction to our school, our educational outcomes, the location and layout of the campus, and the learning environment at Saint Mary’s, both in and out of the classroom. The Saint Mary’s Campus Visit Program is designed to provide a student experience that is informative, interesting, and fun!

What can I expect to do on my campus visit?
When considering an appropriate high school choice, Saint Mary’s believes that the best decision is an informed one. Visiting students will spend a half-day, in a small group setting led by a Saint Mary’s student representative. The Saint Mary’s student ambassador will take them to classes, spend time with them during break and lunch, answer questions they may have, and give them an insider’s tour of the campus. During their visit, eighth graders will have an opportunity The visit is followed by a presentation and question-and-answer session with the Director of Admissions. A complimentary lunch is provided for all eighth grade participants.
What should I wear?
Students may wear their grade school uniform OR other appropriate, respectful clothing.
Does Saint Mary’s have a one-on-one shadow program?
Due to the overwhelming number of requests Saint Mary’s receives each year to visit our campus, Saint Mary’s conducts campus visits in small student groups, rather than one-on-one shadow tours. Our goal is to accommodate as many student requests as possible without disrupting or compromising the learning environment and classroom experience for our own students.
How do I schedule a visit?
Sign-ups for a campus visit are on a first-come, first-serve basis up to a maximum of 30 students per visit.
Some students have already made plans and will attend a campus visit with their school or class. Please check with your eighth grade teacher to see if your school has scheduled a campus visit date.
