Financial Assistance

All financial assistance has been distributed for the 2012 – 2013 school year. Updated financial assistance information for the 2013 – 2014 school year will be posted in September 2013. The information below is for the 2012 – 2013 school year.

Sending your child to Saint Mary’s is a significant financial commitment for many families. We are convinced that the gift of a Saint Mary’s education is a life changing experience. Saint Mary’s Financial Assistance Program helps to make a Saint Mary’s education affordable to many families.  Saint Mary’s does not provide athletic or academic scholarships. All financial assistance is based on financial need.

Applications and awards are made annually and are determined by reviewing each family’s total resources, coupled with the amount of funds available. The financial assistance program strives to provide tuition assistance to as many families as possible. Our funding for this program is provided through the generosity of parents, alumni, students, and friends of Saint Mary’s.

How to Apply for Financial Assistance

Every freshman applicant will automatically receive a 2012-2013 PSAS (Private School Aid Service) financial assistance application in the mail from the Business Office.

PSAS provides the financial evaluation information to Saint Mary’s for the purpose of determining the financial needs of each applicant. Filing the PSAS form will allow families to be considered for both the Saint Mary’s Financial Assistance Program as well as the FACE (Family Aid to Catholic Education) Program, a Diocesan tuition assistance program.

It is important to meet all of the financial assistance deadlines. Late or non-completed applications may not be considered since the limited funds available will have already been distributed to those who applied on time. Please be sure to mail your application forms directly to PSAS. The address and mailing instructions are located on the forms themselves.
