Your Guide to Buying Books for the 2008 - 2009 School Year
Saint Mary’s is constantly striving to provide students with the best educational experience possible. To do this we continually review how we operate in order to identify ways to better serve our students and their families. Most recently, we have been looking at ways to improve our textbook program and are happy to announce that we have partnered with MBS Direct to manage and deliver our textbooks and course materials.
Our decision to partner with MBS Direct was made very carefully and with a great deal of consideration. After researching and exploring all the available options, MBS Direct just made sense. They proved to us that they are dedicated to providing excellent customer service to the school and to each of you as well. The company currently serves hundreds of schools like ours throughout the country and the world. They have a warehouse with over 7 million textbooks and one of the best selections in the nation.
Now that MBS Direct is our school’s official online bookstore, we want you to know what to expect. First, ordering your textbooks will be simple and straightforward. The MBS Direct online bookstore is organized according to class names and will provide you with real-time inventory when ordering.
MBS Direct will also handle our textbook buyback. Since they work with so many schools, they will be able to offer competitive buyback prices and utilize demand from all their clients ~ which means more of your books will be bought back. Because of MBS Directs Customer Loyalty Program we will not have a Book Swap in June. We encourage all families to buy and sell their books through MBS Direct so it ensures we have an inventory of used books available to Saint Mary’s families. You are always welcome to swap books with other families. Just ensure that you have the appropriate book with the correct edition and ISBN number. The booklist will be available to review on our MBS Direct website on July 1st. In addition, if you should have any questions, MBS Direct operates a U.S. based customer service center available 7 days a week.
