Click the link and print both pages. Complete the first
page and submit it to Ms. McManus. Read the instructions carefully. Generally,
using last semester’s grades, students need three A’s and one B in approved
courses to be eligible to apply; however, students who are taking honors and AP
classes may be eligible with fewer A’s. Students who have questions about eligibility should check with the Ms. McManus.
What is CSF? The California Scholarship Federation, usually called CSF, is a statewide honor society that fosters high standards of scholarship, service, and citizenship on the part of California high school students. The motto of CSF is Scholarship for Service. The state central office of CSF approves our courses that make you eligible for membership.
Membership is for one semester and is based on semester grades earned in high school, so freshmen must wait until their second semester to apply. Students may join only during the application period of each semester. Membership is not required and it is not automatic; students must reapply each semester they are eligible.
