Saint Mary's is a Lasallian Catholic coeducational college preparatory high school located on a 13-acre site in North Berkeley and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association through 2010. Saint Mary's is notable for the deep and powerful influence of the Christian Brothers, their mission, and values, which ensure the quality and character of the school. Saint Mary's has a long, well-respected educational tradition in the Bay Area as it celebrates its 145th year of education in the community and its 80th year on the North Berkeley campus.

Technology
Saint
Mary’s uses technology to heighten learning and communication for students and
parents. The school has provided PowerBooks to the entire faculty and a
full-time educational technologist to support multi-media and technology based
learning throughout the curriculum. Saint Mary’s supports a complete wireless
environment. Many of the classrooms are
enhanced with the most updated technology to support the advancements in the
curriculum and program. PowerSchool, an
information system, will provide students and families with current academic
assessment and school information. Providing the most current academic
information allows students to be better agents of their own learning.
Co-Curricular
The Student Activities Program encourages leadership,
school unity, and community service through various clubs and the student government. Students are encouraged to participate in
co-curricular activities to expand their education and to add to their social
experience and growth.
The interscholastic athletic program is also an
integral part of the Saint Mary’s experience offering 36 competitive athletic teams
in 20 interscholastic athletic programs as
a member of the Bay Shore Athletic League (BSAL) and North Coast Section (
