Founder's Day in honor of Saint John Baptist de la Salle and Game Day - May 16.
Founder's Day Liturgy and Game Day is a treasured Saint Mary’s tradition. The students and faculty gather in the auditorium for a Founders Day Celebration Mass. Then it’s a day of fun and games as the students and faculty compete in various activities.Since Founder's Day is still in the planning stages, details will be forthcoming. Volunteers are still needed!

One thing is for sure, students will be feed, so assistance in setting- up food stations, serving food, and cleaning up will be needed from the hours of 10:30 to 1:30 on Friday, May 16th.

Finals Week Faculty Lunches: May 20 & 21
For this time honored tradition, parents  provide a tasty lunch for our hard working faculty and staff during Finals Week. Volunteers are needed to bring food for lunch that serves 8-10 people (drop off is fine or send the meal in with your child). Help in set up and clean up between the hours of 10:30 to1:30 is needed.

May 20th Freshman and Senior parents
May 21st Sophomore and Junior parents
Vegetarian dishes are welcome.

Frosh Neighborhood Socials
Families are needed to organize and host Incoming Freshman Neighborhood Socials. The socials introduce incoming freshmen families to other Saint Mary's families in their areas. Socials in the past have been held in neighborhood parks or homes in Oakland, El Cerrito, Hercules, and Berkeley. Please contact Donna McRae, Volunteer Coordinator, at stmchsvolunters@comcast.net

Parent Association Board Positions
We are looking for new members to serve on the Parents Association Board. Open positions include

Vice President (organizes the Mother/Son and Father Daughter Dances)
Junior Class Representative (plans and organizes Senior Breakfast and Baccalaureate)
Secretary (record minutes during Board meetings)
Booster Club Representative (Oversees operation of Booster sponsored events; Snack Shack, Panther Gear)
