Neighborhood Newsletters
For many years, at the start of each academic semester, Saint Mary’s sends out a Neighborhood Newsletter to some 350 residences and the businesses in the immediate vicinity of the campus. The newsletter is now also being posted online – in color – and contains interesting school news, school and neighborhood history articles, photos, and a calendar of those events that might or will impact traffic and parking around the school. Saint Mary’s is required by the City of Albany to provide such calendar information to residences within 300 feet of the campus and provided us with a list of about 250 addresses that meet that criteria. Saint Mary’s added numerous other residences beyond the 300 feet to the mailing list as a courtesy. Calendar information is also easily accessible on the school web site, which Saint Mary’s welcomes and encourages school neighbors to visit.
