Coaching Staff (2023)
Joe Rohlfes--Coach Rohlfes comes to Saint Mary's in his first year serving as the head coach for the Swimming & Diving Program. The team has been on a hiatus for the past three years, so his primary aim is to build and define a program from the ground up that embodies the spirit and mission of Saint John Baptist De La Salle, the patron saint of our school. Coach Rohlfes comes to Peralta Park with more than 20 years of experience coaching a variety of a sports at various levels. He is also a former high school swimmer at Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, California, and is also a former water polo player at San Diego State University. Following his collegiate career at San Diego State, Coach Rohlfes continued his water polo career over seas in Western Europe, playing for teams in both France Germany.
Rachel Klinker--Coach Klinker comes to Saint Mary's in her first year serving as the assistant coach for the Swimming & Diving Program. She is a current student-athlete at UC Berkeley and their Swimming & Diving program, serving as the team captain in her senior year. Klinker is an NCAA Finalist who brings with her natural leadership and compassion to her role as an assistant coach. Aside from participating in UC Berkeley's Swimming & Diving Program, Klinker has worked as the Head Swim Instructor at the UC Berkeley Swim Camps and as a caregiver during the COVID pandemic. She has also achieved a lot of success and accomplishments as a collegiate swimmer at the Pac-12 level (listed below):

- Top 8 NCAA Finalist in the 200m Butterfly
- Olympic Team Trials Finalist
- 3-time All American Swimmer
