Panthers Open 2023 Campaign with 3 Straight Sweeps
September 29, 2023—On a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Carondelet High School Athletic Complex in Walnut Creek, California, the Girls Rugby team opened their 2023 campaign with three straight victories on the day. The Panthers beat the Berkeley High Yellowjackets by the score 29-12, the Bishop O’Dowd Dragons by the score of 20-10, and the Overfelt High Royals by the score of 20-0, finishing with a 3-0 record for the day.
The Panthers were led by sophomore sensation, Kira Gant Hatcher, who accounted for 8 total scores on her sophomore debut.
The Panthers will return to action next Saturday, October 7th, where they will travel to the Carondelet High School Athletic Complex once again. The match is set for 9:00AM.
