AACI (Asian Americans for Community Involvement): Growing Up in America art, essay, and video contest for the Bay Area youth.

ABOUT GUA
Hosted by AACI and in partnership with NBC Bay Area, the Growing Up in America - GUA (formerly known as Growing Up Asian in America) is an annual art, essay, and video contest that reaches thousands of Bay Area students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Founded by Lance Lew of NBC Bay Area in 1995, the contest encourages young students to take pride in their identities. It also helps others understand the unique experiences of our youth growing up in the Bay Area's diverse communities. GUA provides a unique platform for young artists to explore and celebrate their backgrounds creatively.
