Saint Mary’s Falls in Competitive Match to El Cerrito

The Saint Mary’s Panthers battled hard against El Cerrito but came up just short in a closely contested match.

The Panthers secured three points in singles play, earning victories in three of their four singles matches. El Cerrito responded with a strong showing of their own, capturing one singles win and sweeping doubles to collect three additional points. That effort gave El Cerrito the overall team victory.

Despite the tough loss, the Panthers showed grit and determination throughout the match and continue to demonstrate steady progress early in the season.

Saint Mary’s will look to bounce back on Thursday as they travel to face Salesian.
