Athletic Clearance Information
To participate in athletics at Saint Mary’s students must be cleared by the athletic department before joining any rosters, or even trying out for any teams. Our clearance process is all done electronically on Home Campus, a website that helps to consolidate all our necessary clearance/medical paperwork into one location, making it easier for our staff and the parents. You will have to electronically sign paperwork such as waivers, assumption of risk, our sportsmanship policies, etc. Click the link for “HOMECAMPUS INSTRUCTIONS” and follow the directions. This website is where you will be uploading a digital copy of your kids’ pre-participation physical as well.
Things to note:
- Per CIF Protocol, all athletes have to get a physical signed by a doctor once a year that states that a student athlete is cleared for participation. The doctor’s signatures are only good for ONE CALENDAR YEAR.
- You have to redo this process every year. Meaning you will have to electronically sign the clearance paperwork every school year your child wishes to be on a team at Saint Mary’s.
- You do NOT have to ever make a second profile. Next school year, simply log into the same account and then say "START CLEARANCE HERE", then just select the new school year you will redo paperwork for.
